The group's principal activity is to provide direct-access trading capabilities and related software to both retail as well as corporate customers. The group markets its proprietary technology, direct-access vertical exchange (dave), to the brokerage and banking industries. This system consists of two applications, namely ultimatetrader and watleytrader, a client-server and a Web-based application respectively. As on 30-Sep-2003, the group had approximately 1,100 customers.
